  22.   of text.  He had recieved advice on how to mak the the text glitter by using a
  23.   reflection map, but could not achieve the sivler 'look'.

  25.    I have had the same difficulty with flat objects.  the relection map works
  26.  best on obects that are rounded or spherical in nature.  I have not achieved
  27.  the desired 'Silver' or metallic look otherwise.  I have always needed to make
  28.  the objects rounded or beveled.  The text macros in modeler work well on this.
  29.  Alan H. is this the nature of reflection maps, or are my freind and I missing
  30.  something.  I've read through that part of the VT manual many times, and I fail
  31.  to understand why it behaves so.
  32.    Oh well, probrably something obvious that can't permeate my thick sckull....
